Testing our blog before we leave.

Gary & Linda are not professional website builders.  We have attempted to make this site work with a bit of help from others.

January 8, we fly to Vancouver and after an early lunch we board the plane to Hong Kong.  We are trying to finish up all the last minute things which include this blog and shovelling the snow!  About the blog, there is a subscribe button on the menu, the intention is that if you subscribe, you will receive an email notification that we have made a change to our blog. We are not yet sure if this feature works.  Feel free to subscribe.  You will have to validate your email address by replying to an email.  You can unsubscribe at any time.  If this feature works as intended we will be happy but surprised! What we mean is that we haven’t really haven’t had time to rigorously test this feature. Bon Voyage!

Our Garden!
We are happy to leave but really sad we’ll miss our Orchids blooming. Our Amaryllis will bloom in the next day or two!

Happy New Year !

We are looking forward to starting 2019. We have plans to travel starting January 8th. Gary is working at getting this blog built. Linda is organizing our documents and clothing for a warmer climate. This morning we woke up to -28C with a biting wind. We’re looking forward to lows of +25C with skin softening humidity! Happy New year to everyone with best wishes for health and happiness in 2019!
