Jelly Anyone?

Klong Dao Beach

What can we say when we go to the beach every day? The water was great, the sun was hot, there were a few jellyfish on the beach.  We didn’t see any in the water until we came out after a 45 minute dip. Ooops.  Glad we missed the freaking things in the water.  Or, better yet, glad they missed us!

Jelly fish are like mosquitos, you have to wonder what their purpose is on the planet.  Apparently they can be eaten, by people and sea creatures.  They also protect some fish from predators.  It looks like the one in the video had fun with the crab,  We just try to avoid them.  We carry a little bottle of vinegar and rubbing alcohol 50/50 mix.  Gary uses it when diving to clean and disinfect his ears.  It’s the best prevention for swimmer’s ear.  Vinegar is supposed to work for jelly fish stings too. Hope we don’t need it!
